Welcome to the Haunted Plympton website — now offering two Ghost Walks for 2026: the long-running Haunted Plymouth Ghost Walk and the brand-new Haunted Plympton Ghost Walk.

Founded by Kevin Hynes in 2009, Haunted Plymouth exists to keep Plymouth’s haunted history and ghostly tales alive for future generations; it would be a crime to let this haunted heritage slip into the shadows. Join us on the next available tour and let an official guide lead you to Plymouth’s most notorious sites. Hear true accounts of hauntings, ancient mysteries and chilling encounters as you explore the darker side of Plymouth and the shadowed streets, woodlands and ruins of Plympton. Haunted Plympton Ghost Walks - April to October 2026

Dare you step into the chilling depths of Plympton — an ancient stannary town cloaked in mystery, just five miles from Plymouth’s vibrant heart! Join us for a spine-tingling guided Ghost Walk where history bleeds into the paranormal.

A haunting walk winds through the shadowy streets and forgotten corners of Plympton and Plympton St Maurice, where whispers from a forsaken manor and the chilling legacy of the 1817 Plympton Duel hang in the night air. You pass the 13th-century church and the ancient Ridgeway, venture into woodlands famed for spectral sightings, and uncover tales from a village steeped in history since 1155. The route takes you past the Guildhall and age-old inns before finishing at the ruined Plympton Castle — a place long rumoured to harbour restless spirits.

Your Guide

I would like to take this opportunity to share a little information with regards to my background and spiritual journey.

I was born and brought up in Plymouth which is located in the beautiful county of Devon in the Southwest of England UK. My interest with spirit, ghosts and the subject of the supernatural stretches back to my early childhood. Since 2001 I have been using my Mediumship abilities to undertake investigations into the paranormal and communicate with spirit, this has involved spending time at a wide array of the most haunted sites and locations throughout the UK.

I class myself as a believer of the spirit world and have had my fair share of both paranormal experience’s and communicating with spirit over the years. With regards to investigating apparent paranormal activity I always first look to finding a rational explanation to the cause of supernatural occurrences without presuming that the unexplainable is 100% paranormal.

I have had the privilege to have sat in several development circles over the years, and continue to do so. This has has given me the opportunity to train and continually enhance my Mediumship abilities.

My passion for spiritual communication through Mediumship, the paranormal and history is second to none. I am the author of ‘Haunted Plymouth’ and ‘Haunted Dartmoor’ published by the History Press.

I am also the founder of Haunted Plymouth, which specialises in Plymouth Ghost Walks and Investigations into the paranormal. Co Founder of Black Crow Paranormal Society and Resident Medium for the TV series Encounters. Previously I have been involved with several paranormal groups contributing to the running of charity nights, ghost walks and have appeared on local television and radio in relation to my work.
